The search for Kanye saying Furry: The search for the MTV Diary of Kanye West.

2020.08.20 03:17 IDontBeleiveImOnFIre The search for Kanye saying Furry: The search for the MTV Diary of Kanye West.

Hello gentlemen, lately at KanyeHub we've been trying to research or dig up an extended clip of Kanye saying furry as of lately. Surprisingly the rabbit hole goes deeper than is expected.
A quick overview:
Back in the day MTV, which was awesome as shit ngl, did these specials where they would spend a day or so with the viewer's favorite artists. One of these artists were Kanye West. We don't know much of it as of right now, however what we do know is kanye talking about people calling him names including furry for his design of the Dropout Bear.
This was supposed to be straightforward, as in, just find the damned link of the video, however the diary videos that mtv produced that are found on youtube, including the one from Kanye West have all been cucked by copyright notices that date back as far as 3 years ago, atleast according to an archive.org Internet Wayback Machine snapshot from well, 3 years ago.
We had originally thought this came from the Kanye West College Dropout: Video Anthology documentary playlist mixtape sort of thing that was in amazon and that some people have in their posession because yes.
Kanye West College Dropout Video Anthology.
We later found out this was an MTV special, so the idea of it coming from here is scrapped for now unless perhaps the interview is jumbled up in the TCDVA (The College Dropout Video Anthology) content.
We've searched in public trackers and piratebay, but theres no seeders and theres just nothing in general. Ig ill share some theories of my own as to where it might be.
Does anyone here have it downloaded? Theuncluckyo who was the one to bring up the topic said he had seen the clip on twitter a while ago. Again here are some theories that we could do.
Does anyone here have any sort of copy to maybe not just this kanye tape but MTV diary content in general? We've found some content of MTV Diaries for celebs like Jessica Alba stashed away in PirateBay but that's about it.

2020.08.19 00:52 AutonInvasion WR Update S3 Wk2 D1

WR Update S3 Wk2 D1
The first game of week 2 of the season has already provided some shocks to the system. Comment below on your take on the headlines.
Premier League
In the Marvel vs DC match up of arguably each universe's hottest actress, the Bird of Prey ate the Black Widow alive in what I understand to be Scarlet's second ever loss following a 28 game winning streak. Whilst still in first place, Scarlet drops 6 points whilst Margot Robbie climbs 3 places to 3rd with her new personal best!
League 2
Whilst considered a draw for the season, DC's Wonder Woman Gal Gadot has pipped Jessica Alba to the post by one solitary point. Alba falls 4 places to 29th, but still leads against Gal who rises 5 to 36th.
League 3
Another Marvel defeat, this time for Jean Grey star Sophie Turner who loses to Kate Beckinsale. Kate's score rises into the early 60s, catching up closely with Margot Robbie and Anna Kendrick, but retains her position in 4th for now. Sophie Turner plummets 4 places to 372nd. Will the phoenix rise from the ashes?
League 4
Cabello tastes yet another defeat this time against strong WR contender Brie Larson who wins by over 60% of the vote. Camila stays where she is at 376th whilst Larson climbs to 31st.
League 5A
Another tough battle for the Hit Girl sees Moretz draw with Disney's Descendants star Dove Cameron. Whilst a draw, this sees a small increase for Dove who flies up 3 further places from bottom to 374th. Moretz drops 3 places to 370th.
League 5B
A win for Marvel TV star Chloe Bennet against Marvel movie star Colbie Smulders sees these two cross paths on the rankings. Chloe has climbed 7 places to 42nd whilst Smulders has dropped 12 places to 45th
Transitional League
Unlikely to win in a ring match, Lily James has beaten Alexa Bliss. Alexa's WR score was so low that even at a loss, she managed to do better than expectations and recover some precious points. These have seen her overtake Rebel Wilson...just.
Conference Premier A
Rebel lost in style, increasing her score but losing her voting share against Adriana Lima. Rebel now claims the lowest rank whilst Lima climbs 26 ranks to her new personal best of 11th.
Conference Premier B
Whilst a significant difference in rankings, the Beer vs Julia Fox battle was close enough again to be considered a draw. Due to her being lower in ranking, Fox did better than expectations with her small win and actually climbs to 363rd place. Similarly, as Beer did significantly worse than expected, she has dropped 20 places but remains at a respectable 56th place.

CBL World Rankings Top 10
It's still early days for round 2 and there are plenty of top 10 contenders yet to play their games this week, so anything can change! Will Anna Kendrick retain her silver throne? Will the favourites continue to lose their battles? Will we see anyone new in the top 10 again this week? You decide!
https://preview.redd.it/qsp773v5auh51.png?width=454&format=png&auto=webp&s=1c7f7b783b3c00fd7abc82100c0f55b13bd20148
New Feature: Whilst a work in progress, as from now on I will be adding in the 'Pld' column the total number of matches played on a 1v1 basis. Differences will appear in the Pld column due to date they were added to the subreddit as it grows, and how well they do in knock-out cups such as the Inter-Titty and Gillette La Lega. Team Tournament matches have also been included but only in 1v1 scenarios.
Presently this is just for interest and curiosity, but I am considering options to include this as a factor in the rank calculations in future battles. Competitors who haven't yet battled since yesterday's match ups have not yet been totalled up. This is to prioritise who I update on the tables so I don't have to spend too much time in one go on this. Reddit/Life balance...life just seems to get in the way :)

2020.08.07 00:53 BravoPUA How to deal with flakes

One of the most misunderstood and most difficult to overcome sticking points for new guys.
FLAKES
The fear of the approach is so powerful, that it quickly filters out the guys who aren’t committed to learning this stuff. But new guys who have very little experience getting numbers and getting dates start encountering “flakes” and their resolve and self confidence can get a bit shaky. Lucky for you, I am going to break this down so you can instantly understand what is going on…and you don’t have to spend a year trying to figure this out on your own (like I did back in 2006 which ultimately lead to the Bravo Number Close) Guys (and AFC me) have so much trouble trying to understand this because we are still viewing the world thru AFC glasses, and have a distorted view on is actually going on. The most important and first thing you need to understand is=
A RESCHEDULE IS DIFFERENT THAN A FLAKE
“Hey, something came up and I have to stay late at work tonight so I can’t meet you for a drink, can we hang out tomorrow?”
That COULD be a 100% legit excuse!mans since she is offering a reschedule date, that conveys that she WANTS to see you. If she’s doesn’t offer a hard date and is more general with something like “maybe next week” then you should try to lock it down. If she is wishy washy on setting a time then respond back like a confident guy would with, “cool, well let me know when you are free and we can do something then :)” That way the ball is in her court, incase she IS wanting to see you, the door is still open and her getting back to you is her giving you a big GREEN LIGHT. This also saves time my time because I don’t think about her or the date again until she contacts me, and it prevents AFCs from contacting her too much and looking creepy. It also conveys that I am a man with other options.
When dealing with a legit reschedule, I give her 1 chance at another time. If she wants to see me, she will find away. If she is on the fence just trying to “politely” blow me off (wasting a guys time and giving him false hope isn’t the polite way ladies. This is a good example of woman logic. If she doesn’t have to deal with the repercussions. It doesn’t exist). Now there are always exceptions to the rules and one girl who is a nurse and was on call had to reschedule a few dates, and because I was attracted to her, I let it slide. I did however let it be known that any time that happened, she had to figure out a way to make it up to me…and she always did! 😉
Now a TRUE flake= a chick blows you off, stands you up, leaves you hanging= fuck her.
Back in my AFC days, a flake would get me worried. (me being the super nice guy that I was)
She was digging me…and she wouldn’t do this, she’s not that type of girl….so something clearly happened…I wonder if she got into a car accident or something. Is she OK? I need to know. Maybe she’s lost. I better call her again. No answer. I better call her again. Shit. No answer. I’ll know, I’ll text letting her know it’s OK to blow me off! “If you don’t want to go out with me that’s cool, I just want to make sure you are OK. Just text me so I know. Either way I wish you all the best. :)” What a giant fucking pussy….that was still painful to just type out….too bad I am not the only one who knows that pain. Why would you wish a person who just conveyed to you, that you aren’t even worth a few seconds of their time, the best.
Fuck them
Fuck them
FUUUUUUUUUUUCK THEM!!!
AFC think like this Not adults who value their time! Not MEN! Our time is our most valuable asset, fuck anyone who wastes mine! (especially whoever invented the fucking automated telemarketer) Just like fuckers on craigslist who never come by, and don’t call/text/email you saying they changed their mind and leave you waiting around the house for an hour waiting for them. Fuck them! (got it?) Bottom line. If you built SOLID attraction, she wouldn’t flake on you.
example time- Who do you think is the hottest chick in the world? Megan Fox Prime Angeline Jolie Jessica Alba Or maybe some dirty porn chick. Whoever she is, it doesn’t matter. The analogy will work. For the sake of the story I’m going to use Natalie Portman. To help with story To help with story
Let’s say you bump into her in your home town. You approached her (because you decided FUCK IT and took a shot like a Boss) clicked and go for the number close. “I actually don’t even have a phone right now. It got hacked and I’m going over to japan for a month for a movie. But give me your number and I PROMISE that I will call you when I get back and we will have a date”
What would you do? Of course you’d give it to her!! So a month goes by, you tell all of your friends about it, and as 30 days draw closer you start getting excited. Every time the phone rings you get excited, only to look at the caller ID and see its work, or even worse. Mom. A few weeks go by A month or 2 4 months go by and you’ve finally accepted that she isn’t calling, none of your friends believe you and you are so bummed, you don’t even jack to her anymore. Then the phone rings and it’s some weird number.
“Hello?” “Hey……Steve? It’s Natalie. I’m not sure if you remember me…” “Natalie, of course I remember you…… what happened?” “I am SOOOO sorry. I put your number in my purse, it got packed up, I looked for it everywhere, and I JUST found it and called you right away. I really want to see you….if you still do?”
– of course we want to
“I’m in town this weekend, I have a suite at the Ritz and was wondering if you would want to come over, we can get room service and enjoy the hot tub that is in my room?”
– of course what would you say???
But, you have to work? So what would you do? Take time off? Call in sick? What if they won’t let you… quit your job? What if it is your mom’s 60th birthday that weekend?
“Sorry mom. I’m sick. Cough cough. I can’t make it.”
Or are you cool enough with your mom-
“Hey mom, just got off the phone with Natalie Portman, we are hanging out this weekend, she’s in town, and we are hot tubbing, cool if I raincheck the bday?” “Sure thing! Good luck Steve, wear a rubber, pretty sure she banged Russell Brand.” “Shit, good memory, Thanks mom!”
Now why would I blow off mom’ bday for a chick that I don’t really know, and left my hanging for months? Because she Natalie Fucking Portman, that’s why!!!!!!!! She has SO much value (in my head), social proof, is hot, rich, basically she has +5000 attraction in my mind. So if the girl you number closed last week only has +10 attraction in YOU, she might flake for any reason. If someone else comes along who rolls a +200 attraction, you get downgraded to a +2 and get blown off. Or since you only worked flash game, had a +200, but a day later, after she had time to think about things, and decided she didn’t like the pink boa as much as she thought….and the alien high five was more gay than cool, then that +200 turns into a -500 and her and her friends sit around making fun of you.
HOW DO YOU FIX THIS AND PREVENT FLAKES?
By running solid game, that connects on a deeper level, that isn’t just flash game, and striking while the iron is hot ( locking in day 2 plans THEN, not days later). Do that, and your flakes will basically disappear and reschedules rarely, if EVER happen. If they keep happening, then you aren’t running solid game. I don’t even worry about flakes now. If a girl does flake, then that is her demonstrating her mindset (which clearly is not one I want to be around) that she clearly has bad taste (by not making the time to hang out with an awesome guy like me), or the third reason a chick will flake.
An emergency actually came up and she couldn’t reschedule with me. If that happens, then when she does reach out to me later, I have to hear a good excuse, believe her apology, and accept whatever offer she is making to “make it up to me”. If I’m not satisfied with all of those, then her ship has sailed. Lastly, a simple way to prevent those AFC thoughts from ever building up is to have a texting relationship with her already established. So when she is getting ready to leave she texts to let you know. Maybe she texts you because you have to let her into the building from outside, or for any other reason you can think of. That way if she doesn’t text before your date, you already know and aren’t left swinging in the wind.

2020.08.06 00:42 Jaymite Confused if I'm asexual or lesbian or bi or traumatised by men

I'm 40 and I've only dated men so far because they're pushy and I'm bad at saying no. Now I've just broken up with an emotionally abusive guy 3 months ago. I've pretty much dated guys back to back for the last 20 years so I've never really had this time to reflect. Now I have I'm starting to think that I wasn't actually sexually attracted to them. I've been identifying as demisexual for a few years now cos I don't feel sexual attraction to strangers. I'm thinking that maybe I got romantic attraction or the idea of men confused for sexual attraction.
The thought of dating another guy ever again just really makes me feel dread. I can't be dealing with the nagging about sex, having to do sexual things to a man ever again. Though just having sex without the other stuff can be nice. The problem is though I've never really crushed on a woman either. It's hard for me to imagine doing things with a woman. I've read the master doc and some of it does apply but how can I know if I don't feel sexual attraction so far. I've not really had the chance to crush on any women. All the bi or lesbian women I've ever met were in relationships. Most women seem straight. I'm also terrible at talking to women and get along a lot better with men. So I think maybe I have a friendship with a man and it just progresses to relationship.
The thing that makes me wonder if I'm a lesbian though. I've always had this thought of what if I crush on a woman and it's so much better. I don't relate to feminine things really and I was always a tomboy. I've always had obsessions with famous women, Drew Barrymore, Kirsten Dunst, Jessica Alba, Kristen Stewart. I really like it when women look masculine or alternative. Actually I did get all flustered and giggly when this girl I knew cosplayed as a male character and I was the characters girlfriend.
As a teenager I had pictures of Buffy all over my wall. I used to joke around and hold my best friends hand as a kid and people used to call me lesbian. I've also found that though I dislike it when men come on to me, which they do a lot, when an attractive woman comes on to me I'm less resistant. But I'm still not really thinking sexual things about women, just that it feels different and interesting. I do like sex, not all the time and not with pressure to have it. I think I'd want sex again at some point. I'm just scared that if I try to see if I can fall for a woman that I'll mess them around. Cos I can't be sure until I feel it. And could it be that I've just dated too many abusive men and I'm just traumatised. I can imagine women and men doing sexual things to me, just because stimulation feels nice. It's so confusing

2020.05.30 03:23 tonnie_taller Selling Sunset: Is It Real or Scripted? Screen Rant

Read more on WordPress https://ift.tt/3eA314C
Many Selling Sunset fans have just watched season 2, and now they are wondering if what they saw was genuine or a director was asking these dazzling beauties to act in a certain way? Did all those catfights, backbitings, and lavish parties really happen, or did the production crew instigate them? Well, there can’t be a black and white answer for it, but it’s true that no one directed the cast members. So, let’s dig a little deeper and find out how much of it is real.
First off, the Oppenheim Group is a legit business, and it deals with luxury properties in Los Angeles. Viewers can check out their website and see all their current listings. Previously, the group had notable clients like Kris Humphries,Chloë Grace Moretz,Orlando Bloom,Taye Diggs,Nicole Scherzinger,Jessica Alba, andDakota Johnson. It is headed by Founder, Jason Oppenheim, and his twin brother Brett Oppenheim. Viewers can even find descriptions about Zelda and Niko (Jason and Mary’s dogs) on the website. Also, all the cast members cum realtors work at the group, do own a real estate license, and they do sell homes for real!

While talking to Variety, the creator of the show who has previously produced The Hills, The City, and Laguna Beach, Adam DiVello confirmed that the series is 110 percent original. He said, _“The idea about it from day one was how do you do reality TV when you take out the confessional and make it look as pretty as possible. We wanted to deliberately make it look like a series even though it’s fully reality.”_He doesn’t believe in directing the cast members. Instead, he asks them to react the way they want to grab the audience’s attention.
He confirmed, _“The more they’re just themselves, the more likable they’ll be, and the audience will relate to them. I think when you’re trying to play a part, it always reads as fake, and people don’t sense that person as well.”_However, to stir the show into an entertaining direction, the cast members are most certainly asked to initiate conversations with each other. For example, they would be asked to discuss a particular event and then capture their genuine reactions. While addressing the post-production, Adam said, _“I can’t tell you how many hours we would sit in an edit bay just working on one scene. I think most reality shows would have turned it out in a day, and we’ll spend a week.”_Although Chrishell is an established actress, she does have a real estate license. The 38-year-old was selling houses when she got picked for the role. Now, she’s a part of the Oppenheim Group. She confirmed during a media interview that a few things were _“amped up for the show,”_but all the fights, drama and scandals are real. Well, it’s pretty clear that the _Selling Sunset_is very much a reality show. The high-end fashion, confrontations, commissions, and super expensive houses, we saw on-screen, were actually authentic. However, it’s also true that editing and dramatic music plays a massive role in making real-lives of these realtors extra dramatic.

2020.05.18 15:33 CaptainYack $ELF, Jess Alba, and the case for tendies

elf Cosmetics ($ELF)
Prior to Covid, the stock was rapidly rising following strong momentum off 4 straight earnings beats and a massive TikTok campaign, driving 5.3 BILLION views to date. With numerous media outlets Vox spreading the word and celebs like Jessica Alba taking part elf has been getting a significant amount of 'free' advertising.
So how do we know GenZ & Millennials making TikToks drives actual sales? Because in addition to that being their best quarter yet, elf is doubling down and coming out with ANOTHA ONE
Few more callouts:
Few additional points to consider from other WSB thread here including the Lipstick Effect credit to u/NetAssetNeutrons
**tl;dr earnings should be better than grim forecast, ride the e-comm wave,
$elf 6/19 $15c print tendies

2020.04.10 01:05 redditthrowaway1478 I present two “distinctly separate” online dating profiles. Tell me what you think...

Read this OLD profile bio:
“Here is a well thought out idea of what kind of guy I am interested in… 5’10″ or taller, lives near by, compassionate, intelligent, giving, VERY Attractive (someone other than your mother or sister has said so, lol) and in shape, prefer self employed, FAMILY orientated, open to new spontaneous things, likes to camp, likes to golf, wants children, would be a good father and faithful husband, a gentleman, gives me my space when I need it, not a nerd or too sarcastic, can take a hint, social, calls for no reason, remembers sending a note or a nominal gif t IS romantic and necessary, respectful, sense of humor, and thinks the world of me. I am not interested in anyone older than 41 and anyone who makes less money than me since I do not plan on changing the lifestyle I have grown accustom to and hope to one day be a stay at home mom and furthermore… my children will never want for ANYTHING (but of course will not be spoiled brats either lol). You should also love animals I am not attracted to red heads at all lol sorry. I’m a Princess waiting for my Prince
I want you to reread that profile. Think about it. Internalize it.
Now read this bio:
“Here is a well thought out idea of what kind of gal I am interested in…5′ 5″ or taller, but not over 6 feet (because while I don’t mind being eye to eye with you, I won’t ever be looking up to you), lives close enough to be at my house within 10 minutes after I make the call, genuinely passionate, intelligent enough to be good company, sexually available (preferably insatiable) and VERY attractive – we’re talking Jessica Alba, Keyra Augustina attractive – women with a body-fat percentage higher than 8% need not apply. Must be employed but not so well as you’ll interfere with our sexual activities, FAMILY oriented, but only after you’ve hit 30-33, open to spontaneous sex (you know, like outdoor stuff or a surprise 3 way with one of your hot girlfriends after our 2nd martini), likes to camp (in the nude), knows not to complain when I go play golf with the clients from work. She must want children after 33 years of age if at all, and only after she’s proven to be a good mother and faithful wife, must be a lady with class and know when the right time is to speak and not to speak, not a prude or bitch, can take the first hint, sociable, unexpectedly texts me pictures of her wearing something new from Fredericks of Hollywood, understands that the best gift she can give me is expressing her desire to fuck me like a wild animal, and also understands that gifts for her are treats or rewards for desired behavior. Must be respectful of my decisions being final, can’t take herself too seriously and thinks the world of me. I’m not interested in anyone over 31 (since this is most women’s expiration date anyway), she cannot have exorbitant spending habits or a credit debt load in excess of $1,000 since I do not plan on changing the lifestyle I have grown accustomed to and hope to one day be able to send my own children to college (rather than pay for your student debt), and furthermore… my children will be taught to reasonably earn their achievements on their own and respect the decisions of their Father and mother (and absolutely will not be spoiled brats either). I’m very attracted to redheads, blonds, brunettes, Caucasians, Latinas, Asians, African-Americans, Pacific Islanders, etc., pretty much any woman that meets my physical requirements. I am not attracted at all to even slightly fat women no matter how much “inner beauty” you think you may possess. Hope to meet you soon, your Prince.”
I want you to reread that, think about it, internalize it.
What you just read was two real OLD profiles: the woman’s was real. The second was that same, idealized woman’s profile, with the same jingoisms and idioms as the template.
A quote from the author,
“You see I had simply reworded the profile of my original Princess’ profile and changed the gender specific terms to the masculine, while adding a bit of my own desires to the outline of the ideal Princess I’d like to meet. After all, they all want to be treated like Princesses, I’m just asking to be treated like a Prince.”

2020.04.05 15:14 psychHOdelic Date ditched me after 5 minutes, need to vent

Hey guys, just looking for some words of encouragement and I need to vent since I don’t want to tell anyone what happened because I feel so ashamed and ugly.
So for background, I’m a fit, just turned 30yr old female. I have always been called cute, a lot of guys swipe right on dating apps, I get a good amount of dates online and in real life, and I am an ex-exotic dancer (did not tell date this) so I’ve made money off my looks in the past. While I’m not Jessica Alba, I’ve always thought I could hold my own when it comes to looks & I am very outgoing and friendly to everyone.
So, I had been talking to a guy on bumble for a while and we seemed like we hit it off. Like most people, I am practicing social distancing but he wanted to meet up and me, feeling deprived of social interaction, agreed to meet up (please yell at me later about not practicing social distancing here) because we seemed to really hit it off & I thought it was cute we were both using DuoLingo to pass time during the pandemic. The only red flag I can think of at this time that I might have given off is that I told him I am a daily weed smoker (I think that’s important to let someone know) and all he said is that he didn’t really partake and I told him that was fine because I wouldn’t try to pressure him.
Leading up to the date last night, we texted during the day and both of us seemed excited to meet. I told him to bring some booze and board games to pass the time. I told him I would be doing my hair & makeup (full bronzer, highlighter, contour, you name it) but since it’s my house and during quarantine I was gonna wear gym shorts and a big tee. I don’t want to dress up just to chill. That was acknowledged.
Guy shows up at my place, alcohol and board games in hand. I had told him earlier we would take a shot when he got here and he seemed into it and said hello to my cat. I am the Chatty Cathy type so I was telling him about all the trashy tv I had been watching on lockdown as Party Down South was playing and talking about work while pouring drinks. He began to get all his stuff out of his bag, which included liquor, a good amount of mixers and 4 different games for us to play.
Now in my house, I have my weed and rillos on the kitchen table in a basket bc that’s where I roll blunts. I was upfront about being a smoker so I didn’t really think to rearrange how I have my shit set up and idk if that bothered him when he was putting all his stuff on the table. So we do a shot and he states he needs to make a drink and asks if I have ice, which I don’t. Sorry people! I laughed it off and said sorry no, I just drink water bottles and soda from the fridge so I didn’t ever need ice. This is where things got bad.
He starts looking for gas stations in his phone and is all disappointed and like “I need ice” and I was like “the gas station is a half mile , if that, down the road” so he states he is going to get ice and then starts packing EVERYTHING up and I was like “you’re going down the street, you don’t need to pack up everything” and he was just like “I need to go”.
I felt absolutely dumbfounded & embarrassed. After he left I texted him saying “sorry if you thought I was that ugly lol” trying to make some light and after I didn’t get a reply for 20 min I just texted back “that was really awkward??” And all he said was “sorry not feeling it” and I’ve been thinking about it all night and all morning.
We both literally broke quarantine to have a chill night (and I hate myself for it now), he drove across town, I spent time getting my face and hair ready, gave him my booze and for what?
Has this ever happened to anyone? Guys, what would make you do this? If anyone needs a pic to rate me, I’ll happily send you one. This has never happened to me before so I can’t help but think it’s bc I’m ugly or something. If he thought I was trashy (but not ugly) I would be ok with that bc i know I’m not super high class & ima country girl at heart (and given that he was dressed like a 33 year old frat star with a Jeff Ruby’s bag makes me think he might be high strung).
If you made it this far, thanks for reading and giving me space to vent. Any advice would be appreciated.

2020.04.03 20:12 Ex__ Quarantainment Suggestion: Movies that take place in Los Angeles

EDIT: If something is missing, check the edits first.
Hello all! I don't know about the rest of this town, but I sure do enjoy movies. In this post I'm going to share a list of movies that:
A.) Are watchable, possibly even entertaining.
B.) Take place in Los Angeles. Some may simply have just a scene or two in Los Angeles whereas others are fully written for a Los Angeles setting. Some may even be fictional locations that were neverless filmed in and highly resemble the Los Angeles area.
Most of these are mainstream movies so no real gems in this list, but I encourage others to contribute in the comments. I realize that not everyone has watched everything, so I'll provide insight that assumes you haven't seen the film yet.

Movies that take place in a non-fictional Los Angeles setting

Movies that partially take place in Los Angeles

Movies that take place in a fictionalized Los Angeles

Thats it for my list. Don't feel like proofreading it, so I apologize for any grammatical errors. Be aware that I can't think of or remember EVERYTHING. Also this isn't meant to be an encyclopedic list, so there are some films I left off intentionalyl ebcause I didn't feel they were what I considered watchable. That being said, I'll edit in any film that's commented below, but don't blame me if you watch it and it sucks ass.
EDIT:
Swimming With Sharks (1994) - Another one I forgot. Stars 90s Kevin Spacey and Brett from Pulp Fiction. Decent watch, if not a bit over the top with the ending.
Up in Smoke (1978) - The original stoner comedy. Stars the comedy duo Cheech and Chong. Excellent watch and they do a good performance of Earache My Eye. In fact, the entire soundtrack is dope. Definitely worth a watch.
Car Wash (1976) - Solid comedy, stars Richard Pryor, and spawned the song of the same titled that charted heavily in the 70s. Had a really stupid remake that I think Aftermath records produced named The Wash that is not at all worth mentioning further.
Set It Off (1996) - A bank heist film on the surface, but really the black woman's answer to Thelma and Louise. Stars Jada Pinkett-Smith, Vivica A. Fox, and Queen Latifah as a lesbian waaaaaaay before she officially came out.
u/Cribbit has further decreed that Bosch (Amazon Prime) and Barry (HBO) are further required watching for continued Los Angeles residency.

2020.02.24 15:56 BlackEngineerinTX How Do I get Over Racism While Dating?

TL:DR: Whats the best way to ween yourself from most women in race you like, but dont like you? Sleep with alot of them for a week/month straight to get rid of your urges?
Going to be completely honest here. For the longest ive been attracted to hispanic women and mixed race with black in them. I love all races dont get me wrong, but being from Texas i pursued alot of Hispanic women.
I have so many failures while dating, i could fill a book with more pages than harry potter up. At first, i took the nonchalant advice every one gives: be patient, work on yourself, and try different areas to find of woman. And also, ive considered the fact that most people date within their race, and the fact that im no brad pitt or the rock, but come to conclusion that because im black, most hispanic will probably not to talk to me. In fact, the moment most realize im black, they immediately stop talking to me. I managed to ask some why, and they said they are very traditional, and its ok to bring a white or hispanic man home, but no black guys. I slept with one girl and when I brought her home, her sister was outside and you could sworn this girl was working with the cia how she wanted me to drop her off at the corner.
One of my best friends is mexican, and look-wise, hes a little slimmer than peter griffin from family guy (and kind of looks like him), and his gf looks like jessica alba. We are similar height, financial wise, i make more than him, and we both could say the same thing to a hispanic girl, but he is going to have more influence im assuming because of his skin tone?
Not to make it look one sided either, i do see some hispanic with black guys, and i know im being stereotypical, but the ones I see most either are hood bad boys, or the top 1% ones earning a hefty paycheck. Im not hood, and im not Kobe Bryant (rip), look wise and character i would say im more like Pharrell Williams. And yes, i do play the piano, and yes i have one of those forest ranger hats lol.
Not trying to turn this into a debate, just would like some suggestions what to do here? One thought was try to overcome it and only pursue other races. Its kind of hard to suppress what i like, so i was thinking to approach this like how i would ween myself off pizza. I used to crave pizza all the time. So I decided for nearly a week straight i would eat nothing but pizza. It worked and now i eat it every now and then, but i dont crave for it like i used to. Im wondering should i do that regarding latina women? Go to the DR or somewhere and just bang them for two weeks straight or something?

This discussion can be broken into 2 parts, intervention in ways that are obvious (external), & intervening in ways that are less obvious (internal). Anjan Alavandar (they/them) is the founder of Masq. Anjan is an American born South-Indian community organizer who was raised in North Carolina. Anjan has been exploring the confines of masculinity from a young age. Having performed and served as musical director for Tito Puente’s orchestra for 33 years, “Dandy,” as he’s universally known, is a veteran of Tito Rodriguez, Machito, Willie Rosario, Celia Cruz, Fania All-Stars, Ray Barretto and virtually the entire pantheon of salsa’s pioneers.
His New York City-based “Dream Team” is a tight-knit unit that performs the band’s entire repertoire entirely by ear. Performing without the boundaries of written music, every rendition of the band’s repertoire of salsa classics and descargas reaches dizzying new heights of danceable excitement.

Community Create-A-Thon: Census 2020, 2/21

No one knows your community better than you. So, whether you want to design a sticker, draw a poster, write a poem, sing a song, or choreograph a dance, Lincoln Center teaching artists will be on hand to help you shape your ideas. Come collaborate on fun and accessible art projects to help reach the people in your life and share the importance of the census.
Lincoln Center, in partnership with Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and the U.S. Census Bureau, wants to ensure that our communities get their fair share, especially people in historically under-counted groups. These include people of color, immigrants, LGBTQIA people, people experiencing homelessness, people with low incomes, renters, single-parent households, people with limited English proficiency, and children under the age of five.
Why the Census Matters The Census, a once-a-decade population count, affects your representation in government, and determines how much funding your community receives. When a person isn’t counted, they lose out on nearly $2,000 every year for TEN YEARS in direct services like SNAP, WIC, hospitals, schools, transportation, and road maintenance.

Masq is a healing initiative that aims to evolve our relationships with masculinity, thru open-conversation. We strive to destroy the toxic elements that exist within the identity, and embrace its existence beyond it’s cis-expression. This installment of Masq is going to be largely focused on how we, as masculine-identifying individuals, can utilize our power and privilege in our intimate realities to do our part in dismantling our patriarchy. 2020.01.07 15:51 notdoingthedamnthing bachelor happy hour recap.

cause i have no life. i'm listening now and will recap it. here we go. ps. my recaps turn out like a damn episode transcript. i always think everything is important. so uh, sorry.
rachel and becca say they have a million questions for peter. and they are ready!
peter says he's excited for everyone to see it. it was the two most amazing, insane, hardest months of his life. they say he looks happy.
he was so excited (overflown with excitement) to find out he was the bachelor.
his biggest fear would be someone not being as into him as he was into her. but during his first toast he told them that he knows the process works 100%.
as the season went on, the girls started talking about each other. he says it was hard being on the side where you don't see what's actually going on in the house. and that some girls would say one thing and another girl would say the exact opposite. he couldn't stand that.
the first night happens. rachel loves the first night. she thinks it's the funnest night. becca wants to know if going into the rose ceremony was what he was most nervous about or if he was more nervous meeting the girls.
peter says he had a big fear of letting someone go the first night that he could have had a great relationship with. he remembers leaving the first night just hoping he didn't let go of someone that could have been his person. he went off of gut instinct.
rachel asked if he knew who he thought was his top person after night one and he said, "yes." rachel clarified saying she means right when they walk out, without saying any words yet and he says, "still yes."
he didn't want to make the same mistake as becca made with grocery store joe. becca asks if he thinks there's a joe on his season. he mentions megan (the flight attendant) that he liked her whole flight attendant limo enterance. rachel says she should have worn a sexy flight attendant outfit and spanked him with the scarf.
becca wants to know if he felt like he needed to get rid of the attendants so he wouldn't just be "pilot pete." he says no, he loves flying. he then mentions how another girl on his season might be a flight attendant (WUT) and will reveal it later in the season in some sorta dope way. he says how she reveals it was "perfect and has him on the edge of his seat."
rachel wants to know if he felt emotional that first night. he says he only really felt emotional during his toast. he was so grateful and appreciative of the moment.
becca says she knows he was nervous. and that he could sense the girls nerves. how did he help them feel at ease? he says he's always been a physical person (physical touch is his love language) and that he would try to touch a leg or hold a hand to help them relax.
rachel wants to know why he picked a bow tie and he says he fought for the bow tie. he loves james bond. he wore his dads ill fitting tux to prom and wanted to wear one night one that actually looked good. i found this little bit endearing lol.
he didn't plan on kissing anyone night one. he says he waited awhile to kiss hannah b. on her season. he was really shy when he was younger and it was hard for him to talk to girls. but then 'no consent savannah' blindfolded him and kissed him and then the seal was broken. he wasn't waiting for the first kiss anymore and he felt more comfortable with kissing people after that.
he gave his first impression rose to hannah ann. rachel says that was controversial because she stole him three times. peter says he actually gave her the rose BECAUSE of that. he loved that. "that girl knew exactly what she wanted coming into this. she never let me question that. she was the first to steal me away, the first normal kiss after the entrances, and we connected right away."
rachel then says, "lemme tell you who hannah ann reminds me of.. 3,2,1... LUKE P." peter says no way, not even close, she was intentional but luke p was manipulative. he strongly disagrees with the comparison and that she is "so not like that." he says there's nothing wrong this being forward on the first night.
becca says the bachelorettes are good with first impressions. says maybe peter will be like the girls and give his final rose to hannah ann. he laughed and says, "who knows?" he doesn't think the ending will get out. he's hoping it doesn't. becca says she wants to be unspoiled and wants to be surprised. peter says he hates the spoilers. he wants everyone to enjoy the show without them.
rachel says she will be upset if he doesn't pick anyone because she has been very vocal about how if any bachelor would find love it would be peter. and he says, "but if i don't?" and rachel says she can't imagine him not finding his person. becca says she wants to triple date.
rachel asks what he would have done differently the first night and he says maybe he wouldn't have kissed so many women. but he was proud of himself for pushing to talk to every single girl and he was happy he did. he wouldn't change anything.
rachel says she will never forget how it felt to be a contestant. and she had to remind herself to put herself in their shoes. how it's exhausting to be the lead but those contestants wait hours/days for just a conversation.
becca brings up hannah b. she was the last girl out of the limos. what went through his mind?
he didn't know it was her. he truly didn't expect her to show up the first night. maybe sometime during the season but not then. he can be honest, whether he should have or shouldn't have, he felt excited. he thought she was going to come be apart of the house. the girls say they would've thought the same thing if that had happened to either of them.
becca cuts to the group date. he says he didn't go backstage just to catch up with hannah. he went back there because he knew she was "crying like crazy." he wanted to comfort her and then he got emotional and stuff flooded back to him. he says he felt like a jerk doing it but he didn't have any feelings for any of the girls yet. she was just there to host the date and he didn't know what it would entail. rachel says that when it gets down to the final people they really pull on your heart strings in a certain way. and peter says he called her out on that. that he was prepared at atfr to give it another shot with her and he knew there was a shot to be the bachelor and he would have said no to the show. they said goodbye after atfr, she said that she moved close to him, and they agreed to get together and catch up. he got excited and thought it wasnt over yet. he felt the chemistry onstage. his family flew out nyc for vacation that night but he was excited to pursue something. then he watched the second night of atfr and saw her ask out tyler...
he says, "what the hell. and right there i was like ok, done. i'm over it. i'm moving on. it hurt and i wasn't expecting it." so he called her out on that and wanted to know why the hell she did that. he didn't know she felt that way still. it broke his heart to see her in that way. he wasn't dm-ing like apparently she and tyler had been.
rachel wants to know what the emotion behind hannah's tears were. he says she was expressing that she had been through a very difficult time with how things ended with jed. and now he's seen it going through a whole season. it's extremely difficult. and then he says, "she was being honest. she admitted to me she made the wrong decision." rachel then asks if it was the wrong decision with jed or with tyler. then peter gets all quiet and doesn't know how to answer that. rachel says we know with jed but then she essentially chose tyler as well. he says, "she explained the whole tyler thing was because they had been dm-ing." and he just hadn't. he was waiting to see her at atfr. he knows she had something real with tyler too. but the part "pissed him off" that hurt him was that they had talked already. and he says maybe he shouldn't have gotten excited and rach says no. you should have. it makes sense.
rachel says she was a big mike for bachelor girl. but she is very protective of him now.
becca wants to know if he was able to bounce back from that emotional covnvo with hannah and he says he was. he won't give anything away but obviously can assume he had to tell the other women about his talk with hannah. that the other women were rightfully upset: but going into the after party he appreciated them calling him out. it was awkward.
he didn't want to ruin the date that day. but for anyone who's upset about it all, they were real feelings, and everyone will just have to wait to see what happens. rachel wants to know if he got the closure he needed from the conversation and peter says yes he did. he feels good about everything that happens going forward.
they move past the beast talk. what did peter want to do differently on his season then the last seasons? he wanted to give everyone who loves the show the opportunity to live vicariously through his love story. not for the drama.
they talk about how they're humans with real emotions. keep in mind it's about love not drama.
what to expect coming up? peter says he never got a break. something happens every week. it was very exhausting.
most embarrassing moment? a lot of ex's come back. and not just his. fun fact: he got his first girlfriend after senior year of high school.
rachel wants to know, does he beat the windmill sex record this year? and he says, "he didn't bring up the windmill ever." and he won't bring up any intimate details of what happens in his fantasy suites. becca wants to know if he was embarrassed by the windmill talk at all...
he says in the summer he met demi. and demi brought it up to him about how hannah was talking him up about the windmill. and he had told demi that he was confused why she said twice when it was a lot more than that. so when she said the four times on atfr he was like, "holy shit she actually corrected herself. yeah that's the truth. i don't know why she said the twice before." lol. but he's never been the type to get embarrassed by sex. rachel says it did him a favor that hannah mentioned it. it gave him some street cred and showed another side to him. he says he has the cuban spice. i legit choked on my breakfast sandwich when he said that. 😂😂
once he was chosen how did he overcome the negative media about him being chosen over mike? he says he was so distracted by being so grateful for the opportunity that he just didn't care. it didn't matter. he was just excited.
he kind of likes the really mean comments being left on social media. he thinks it's funny. they're keyboard warriors. he's never had anyone say anything remotely mean in person to his face.
they play a final game. word association. first word that pops into his mind.
becca: bachelorette.
copilot: sully.
barb and peter: dancing.
chris harrison: father
limo: first night
celebrity crush: jessica alba
rose: not going to say it. says the first thing that came to his mind was possibly the person at the end. changes his answer to titanic.
flight school: an airport
neil lane: beautiful diamond
instagram: social media (doesn't wanna be verified.)
final rose: chris harrison
2020: dateline (and i just fell in love with him.)
mansion: amazing. (rach would have said dirty. becca would have said stinky.)
THEY HOPE IT ENDS UP WITH PETER HAPPY AND HE IS. HE IS SUPER EXCITED TO WATCH IT ALL PLAY OUT.
and if i ever play with word association game and get the word peter, my answer will be "excited."
k the end.

2019.12.01 05:58 WillumHall I've Fallen and Can't Get Up

Hi, I'm not sure where to go to talk to someone about this. So strangers on the internet please lend me your time. Anyways, I've kind of screwed up and did the number one thing you're not supposed to do. I've fallen in love with my best friend. To catch you up my friend and I have been best friends for a long time, 11 years really. He was the reason I realized I was gay cause I thought to myself "I like him. More than a friend like him." And that was after knowing him for 1 year when we were in the 8th grade. Our friendship hasn't been the healthiest for me really. I knew I liked him but I also always thought of it as a bad thing cause I didn't ever want to lose him as a friend. In highschool we went to different schools and I pushed away from him cause I was depressed and trying to come to terms with my sexuality. In the last year of highschool we started getting close again and hanging out way more and still I had the same feelings about him. Life went on and he went to university and I moved to New York and we talked everyday and during the summer we'd both be home and hang out together playing old video games until 4 or 5 in the morning. We did this nearly every night for the summer for 3 years. Here's the kicker, no one knows his sexuality. He's never had sex, dated, or even kissed a girl. He once said Jessica Alba was hot when we were in grade 9. So, fast forward to today and he's in England for school and I'm stuck in Canada in a rut in my life currently. I miss him like crazy and think about him everyday. I'm really starting to think I've developed an unhealthy obsession with him or something. I don't know what to do here and how to move forward. I don't have any friends gay or straight and I'm too shy/scared to go out to places to meet people. If anyone can help with some advice that would be really appreciated. I'm sorry for writing a novel and wasting your time if you read this. But, please I could really use some gay sage advice.
TL;DR I've fallen in love with my possibly straight possibly gay best friend and don't know how to move on.

2019.10.03 02:11 NigroqueSimillima What's the evolutionary reason men care about facial beauty?

It makes sense that men care about youth, healthy, and for a long term relationship(faithfulness).
I don't see why men care so much facial beauty. Some say beauty is a proxy for health, but the difference between someone like Amber Heard and Jessica Alba, and a fit plain jane isn't health. A woman can be remarkable unhealthy and still attractive(especially young women), and visa versa.
The reason why this puzzling is that one would think that a hard preference for "beautiful" women would be selected against. After all, beautiful women are harder to date, and there's more competition for them, hence you're more likely to have guys trying to cuck you.
You would think selection would pick for men who preferred young, healthy but facially mediocre or even ugly women. Those men would have more loyal wives, and it'd be easier for him to find casual sex partners.
I almost wonder if a preference for female beauty is a more a motivator for men to achieve status, rather than anything special about pretty girl themselves. Men who want pretty girls work hard to get status in their society which lets them have pretty girls, and once they're on the top they use that status to sleep around with a bunch of others girls as well.
If he was fine with plain jane, he'd never take that risk to get that status, that let him fuck all of those girls.

2019.09.07 17:41 SacredAndyman Been having constant sex dreams for the past year. Does anyone remember theirs?

Before I start, I (M23) have been with my gf (F22) for over 3 years and we been open about the fact that we both masturbate.
I'm not sure why, but I've been having having a lot of them this year almost without reason. I've started to write down what I remember in my dreams and I've been surprised with how many I've had. And every time I did, I'd masturbate in the morning because I'll wake up from the dream with a very hard cock.
To make it more interesting, most of my sex dreams have my girlfriend in it, so I'll text it to her which often leads to us sexting, even for the whole day, like very passionate sexting. It was definitely hard to wait until I go upstairs to jerk off because I'm not alone in the house.
Has anyone here had recurring sex dreams? Any of them wake you up hard?
Here's the list of dreams that I wrote down.
Unknown Date: Tied up Emma Stone naked on my bed and wekissed and fucked
05/08/19: Made out with Jessica Alba.
05/13/19: In Playboy Mansion, made out with a bunny until she was pulling me into a room until I spot my girlfriend and wanted her to be my bunny.
05/15/19: Sex with Jamie Lee Curtis from first Halloween.
05/19/19: I'm home with my girlfriend, we're hugging.
05/28/19: Girlfriend and I fuck in a car.
09/06/19: Overnight party in my house, I'm dragged up to my room by Anna Rawson and has another girl for a threesome.
09/07/19: Basically a porn setting, I go in a hotel room and fuck a businesswoman with someone outside the room.

2019.08.07 15:27 Oct92018 My WW is allowing me to be with other women, if I choose to do so.

A fuller story is in my history but I'll give a brief recap: Wife had a very brief (about a week) physical affair with a doctor she works with last summer. There was a long emotional affair prior. She stopped it at office BJ's and quit her job.
Our marriage had been a mess but through hard work and counselling we're in the best place we've ever been in. We genuinely enjoy each other's company and truly the only complaint I have is frequency and nature of our sex. She'd like it once-a-month, I'd love it couple times a week. We usually go about every 10-14 days. The nature is very vanilla. Almost no foreplay.
This brings me to this past weekend. She got pretty drunk and offered to let me have sex with other women if I want to. I blew it off because she was drunk but the next morning she said the offer still stands and has mentioned it almost every day.
Her offer is for a few months and she won't have sex with me while I'm sleeping with other women then I get STD tested before we're intimate again.
What I believe led to this is a girl who hit on me at an out-of-state golf tournament I went to in June. A few people went to a bar after the tournament and this girl told my friend (who she's also friends with) that I was hot then proceeded to put on full-court press. I flirted back but there's no way I was going to sleep with her.
My wife has heard this girl's name exactly 3 times from me. When I got home I told my wife it was flattering to have a cute women 10 years younger than me hit on me (I'm 46). The next day the woman found me on LinkedIn (only social media I have). I told my wife she had done that. The third time is when she overheard me on the phone talking to my friend from the tourney and I jokingly asked how "girl" was doing and laughed. This all happened in the first 3 days and I haven't mentioned this girl since.
I have no doubt my wife's offer is connected to my ego boost from encounter. Also, while we were out to eat last Friday I roundabout complimented the hostess to my wife and our friends. This chick was an absolute 10. Probably 25 years old, face like Jessica Alba and boobs like Sophia Vergara and wearing the tightest dress imaginable. I didn't say she was attractive but we were eating outside and she kept escorting people past us to their tables. At one point I said "It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if the hostess tripped on the uneven pavement and fell on my lap".
Clearly a joke. Everyone knows my humor but I also have no doubt my wife got her idea of letting me have fun from this encounter and the woman at the tourney.
I'm not really looking for advice because I can't imagine bringing myself to be with someone else. At first I figured it was some sort of trap, but that isn't like my wife. She's also denied it and reiterated that she's 100% serious and her motivation is she wants me to be happy and have no regrets.
I'm sure something tells her that if I did this she'd feel less guilty about what she did.
Again, I'm not going to do it and only mentioning it here because it's a good story and every guy's dream scenario. My wife is hot as hell, too, even at 48. The age isn't even a qualifier, she's legit gorgeous which is why I want to have sex with her at all times.
And like I said, our marriage is in the best place it's ever been. I think even better than our honeymoon period 23 years ago. Why would I risk fucking that up?
So that's where I am.
EDIT: Just to address 'dead bedroom' issue that keeps coming up. I don't consider myself in a dead bedroom relationship. We have sex every 10 -14 days, if I had to guess. Sometimes more often. We've been away on a few weekend trips recently and have sex several times/day when we are out of the house away from kids (all teenagers and oldest is 20 and special needs). If I ask for sex, she'll do it, but it may just be 'just bend me over the bed, no foreplay'. When we have a date-night it's a better version of sex so I usually wait for that. I'll admit even at it's best it isn't slamming against the headboard sex but when we have good sex it's good enough sex for me.
Also, I was the one who said she probably likes sex once a month. She claims she'd like it once-a-week or so. But I think she's exaggerating because we've rarely kept that up that pace since we started having kids long ago.
